Beegie, I,m a painter, not a musician Have always traveled in my working years and spent many evenings in piano bars, some good-some npt so good. But n my 93 years, i never heard anything like your sensitive touch , yes I said 93, hoping to make 100. Dale

I’d love to see the trio put out a recording featuring a collection of Burt Bacharach tunes and perhaps a collection of Michel Legrand tunes as well!

IT NEVER ENTERED MY MIND ~ this poignant ballad heads the list of one of the best ballads ever ~ especially Beegie Adair’s heartfelt rendition is by far the best ever recorded and should have been included as the first track of “The Best of Beegie Adair.”

My dear Miss Beegie, While somewhat of a devotee to really excellent piano artists it was only recently (about 10 years ago) that I first heard your album of Frank Sinatra classics. That did it–I became a BIG time fan of yours only to find that many of my friends were already “on board”–so to speak. Two items–just a few months ago I introduced your playing to our youngest daughter (now 52). She’s now “on board”, too. Also–and my wife of 66 years, Nancy, and I can hardly wait– we’ll be seeing you at the Steinway Studio’s here in Alpharetta, GA on June 11, along with some friends. We’re counting the seconds!! FYI–Johnny Costa–from our home town of Pittsburgh–is also a favorite of ours. But your style is so musically rhapsodist one can just listen for hours as your arrangements are so varied. Really looking forward to June 11. Frank Prager

Beegee Discovered you just this year whilst listening to Live 365 .com Love what you do to the great standards, and whilst I endeavour to play, confessI struggle with style! Other pianists I’ve loved over the years are Carmen Cavelloro and Jan August –whose technique just astounds me. Sadly here in UK there is no access to solo piano– unless ‘promoted by someone on the BBC so heavily rely on those stations available thro wiFi Have downloaded some of your Jerome Kern tracts — just so easy to listen toThanks for being there! I wish this CD (The Best of Beegie Adair) would be brought into production again. It’s beauty is simply beyond description. I never thought I would say that about a Cd, but there it is. If you do bring it back, I would like to be notified — return customer here! I have quite a few of her albums, and am enjoying “I’ll take romance” at the moment. I’ve enjoyed standards and jazz standards — does it get better — I ask, rhetorically, for years. She is setting the bar very high. I highly recommend, especially this OOP CD.
