It slays me that I didn't discover you until you popped up on one of my Pandora (music website) stations a few years ago. I say that because I was an avid radio listener, mostly in the western states and, since you are the best jazz pianist I've ever heard, it escapes me how I missed you. I even tuned in the Marian McPartland show once in awhile. I think you cut to the essence of every song you play, playing it exactly the way it should be played, every chord just right. Now I have a Beegie Adair radio station on Pandora and never tire of listening to you.

Beegie, I love your work, your jazz expressions are pure genius on that Steinway! I played trombone with the Memphis State lab band in 1963 under Tom Ferguson, someone I bet you know or have met! I also enjoy playing my keyboard and trying to emulate some of your jazz styling. Have relatives in Arrington, Tn. Maybe I'll see you in Dallas, Ft.Worth or Wichita Falls one of these days.

Hi there discovered you on a Delta flight to Zürich. What a great find!! you and Monica Ramey an enjoyable collaboration. I've seen a number of jazz legends live and look forward to adding you to that list next month at Carnegie Hall. Did you ever perform with Marion McPartland?

Beegie The Chautauqua Institution is lifelong learning site, which operates for 9 weeks during the summer & is dedicated to learning, art, drama, and music. This year we learned that all the piano students play Steinway instruments. What a great opportunity for you & Steinway to get involved. Maybe a concert or a master's class. I don't have any connection to the Institute other than as an attendee who'd love to see you perform.
